Privacy & Cookie Policy
Joy Studio Agency respects your privacy. Last updated: 18 October 2026.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data collected on joystudioagency.com is MAKE WEB SHIFT S.R.L. (Trade Register J40/14421/2022, CUI 46543579), with its registered office at Str. Sg. Constantin Boghiu 15, București, Romania, which operates the Joy Studio Agency brand. Contact for privacy questions: cosmina@joystudioagency.com.
2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis
Contact form: your name, business name, email, the answers you write, the services you tick and your desired start time. We use them to answer your enquiry and prepare an offer (steps at your request before a contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b), and our legitimate interest in replying, art. 6(1)(f)). We keep them for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact.
Booking a discovery call (Calendly): your name, email, time slot and anything you enter, used to schedule and hold the call (art. 6(1)(b)), kept according to Calendly’s settings.
Email you send us: your address and the content of your message, used to reply (art. 6(1)(f)).
Meta Pixel, only if you accept: page views, device and browser data and cookie identifiers sent to Meta, used to measure how our ads perform. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6(1)(a) and ePrivacy rules).
Server logs at our host (Vercel): IP address, user agent, requested URL and time, used for security and delivery of the website (art. 6(1)(f)) and kept for a short period according to the host’s settings.
We do not sell personal data and we do not take decisions about you by automated means.
3. Who receives your data
Vercel Inc. (website hosting).
FormSubmit, formsubmit.co (forwards contact form submissions to our email inbox).
Microsoft 365 / Outlook (our email service).
Calendly LLC, only when you open the booking popup; the Calendly widget loads at that moment, not before.
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., only if you accept the measurement cookies.
Public authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers are located in, or may access data from, the United States. Where this happens we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses, depending on the provider.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use analytics cookies and loads its fonts from its own server (no Google Fonts requests).
joy-consent (our site, localStorage): strictly necessary. It remembers whether you accepted or declined the Meta Pixel and is set when you choose in the banner.
Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, _fbc): marketing and measurement. They are set only after you click Accept.
Calendly cookies: functionality for the booking popup. They are set only after you open the popup.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Declining has no effect on how you can use the website.
5. Your rights
You can ask us for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what happened before. Write to cosmina@joystudioagency.com.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or with the authority in your own EU country.
6. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Form messages are sent over an encrypted connection and delivered to a company mailbox. Access to that mailbox is limited to authorised people.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
